ABOUT ANGREZI MEDIUM 2020
Angrezi Medium (transl. English Medium) is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Homi Adajania and produced under the production banner Maddock Films. A spiritual sequel to the 2017 film Hindi Medium, the film stars Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan and Deepak Dobriyal. Filming began in Udaipur on 5 April 2019 and was completed by July in London. The film was theatrically released in India on 13 March 2020.[4] With its theatrical performance affected by the closing of cinemas due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, plans for a re-release were cancelled and the film was made available digitally less than a month after its release.[5]

In June 2017 in an interview after the success of his film Hindi Medium producer Dinesh Vijan told Mid Day, "There is definitely scope for a sequel. We would certainly explore it." Vijan added, "It's too early. Also, I still have to talk to director Saket Chaudhary, who is currently working on another movie project."[6] On 24 January 2018, Vijan confirmed the sequel to Times Now. He said, "We have just finished typing the second part", with "Just finishing touches are being put", however, "I think you will have to wait for an official announcement for that."[7] On 30 March 2019, it was reported that Kareena Kapoor had been added to the cast of the film and filming would start from April.[8][9] The sequel was titled as Angrezi Medium and filming began on 5 April 2019 in Udaipur.[10] On 6 April 2019 Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst introduced the characters of the film as, Deepak Dobriyal plays Khan's brother and Manu Rishi their cousin, all are running mithai shops and are rivals in business.[11] Pankaj Tripathi joined the cast as travel agent Tony.[12] Jaipur actor Poorvi Jain will play Irrfan's wife Rashi.[13][14][15][16] In mid July, director of the film Homi Adajania announced the completion of filming on his Twitter account.[17]

On 12 February 2020 Irrfan Khan shared an emotional message for his fans that he won’t be able to promote film due to ailing health.[18] Next day official trailer of the film was launched by Maddock Films.[19] The film was released in India theatrically on 13 March 2020 and on digital on 6 April 2020.[4]

Angrezi Medium earned ₹4.03 crore net at the domestic box office on the first day. On the second day, the film collected ₹2.75 crore. On third day, the film collected ₹2.25 crore, taking total opening weekend collection to ₹9.03 crore.[3] As of 15 March 2020, with a gross of ₹10.75 crore in India and ₹2.40 crore overseas, the film has a worldwide gross collection of ₹13.54 crore.[3]

ABOUT SOORYAVANSHI 2020
Sooryavanshi is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty and written by Yunus Sajawal. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty. It is the fourth installment of Shetty's Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif.[1] The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films.[2] Kumar's character was announced towards the end of Simmba that served as a character introduction of Sooryavanshi.[3] He is playing DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. Principal photography for the film began in May 2019 and was completed in November 2019. Initially scheduled for release on 24 March 2020, the film was indefinitely postponed due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.

The film was announced in December 2018 through the post-credit scenes of the Shetty's Police Universe film Simmba. On 5 March 2019, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first look posters of the film on his Twitter account.[15] Unlike previous entries in the franchise, Sooryavanshi is not based on any existing work, but an original story.[16] Principal photography begun in Mumbai on 6 May. The next schedule of the film took place in Bangkok.[17] Filming of climax scene started in Hyderabad in October. The film wrapped up on 30 November.[18]

On 5 March 2019, the day when two posters of the film were out, Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty announced that they have planned to release the film on 22 May 2020, coinciding with the festival Eid-ul-Fitr. Later, it was announced on 12 June 2019 that the release has been preponed to March 2020.[19][20] On 12 March 2020 the release of the film was postponed indefinitely due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.[21][22] On 28 December 2019, Reliance Entertainment released a video to celebrate one year of Simmba which included a short clip from the film's climax.[23]The official trailer was released by Reliance Entertainment on 2 March 2020.[24][13]

The songs composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George – DJ Chetas and JAM8, while lyrics written by Rashmi Virag, Shabbir Ahmed and Tanishk Bagchi. Sukhwinder Singh will sing a song named "Jal Rahi Hai". The song "Tip Tip Barsa Pani" from the film Mohra, will be recreated.[25][26][27][28]
